The Mount Diablo Unified School District (MDUSD) has elected to become subject to the State of California Uniform Public Construction Cost Accounting Procedures. The District is inviting all licensed contractors to either register at the Mount Diablo Unified School District Web Site or submit the name of their firm to the Mount Diablo Unified School District Purchasing department for inclusion on our bidders list.
This notice requires contractors provide the name and address to which a Notice to Contractors or Proposal should be mailed, a telephone number at which the contractor may be reached, the type of work in which the contractor is interested and currently licensed to do (earthwork, pipeline, electrical, painting, general building, etc.) together with the class of contractor’s license(s) held and contract license number’(s).
All contractors working in the area of construction are required to complete the MDUSD pre qualification questionnaire. The questionnaire is posted here. Those who do not have a PDF reader installed, go to the Adobe web site and install a free copy.
Vendors should print out this form, complete it and mail it back to the district purchasing office. Vendors can obtain an application from purchasing as an option. Contact the purchasing office for further information.
The MDUSD may create a new contractor’s list starting January 1st of each year. MDUSD may include any contractor’s name it desires on the bidders list, but must include, at a minimum all contractors who have properly provided the MDUSD with the required information, either during the calendar year in which the list is valid or during November or December of the prior year. The list will automatically include all contractors who submitted one or more bid’s to the MDUSD during the preceding year.
A contractor may have their firm added to MDUSD’s contractors list at any time by providing the required information.
