MDUSD Garden Education Program

MDUSD CARES and the MDUSD Garden Education Program partnered to give away over 500 vegetable starts last week!  Vegetables including heirloom tomatoes, cucumbers, and squash were shared with families at Cambridge Elementary and Riverview Middle School.  Our programs are committed to helping MDUSD families access more fresh fruits and vegetables and empowering students to grow their own food.  This giveaway was made possible from generous donations by the UC Master Gardeners, the CARES after school program, and MDUSD parent Julie Contreras.

To learn more about our program, visit MDUSD Science and Garden Education on Facebook or Instagram.
