MDUSD to participate in Countywide Certificated Job Fair on Saturday, Feb. 25th!
Posted 2/2/23

The Mt. Diablo Unified School District will be participating in the annual countywide Spring Certificated Job Fair hosted by the Contra Costa County Office of Education from 9-11:30 a.m. Saturday, February 25th in the Alhambra High School Gym at 150 E. Street in Martinez.

MDUSD administrators will join representatives from 24 other school districts, charter schools, and colleges offering on the spot interviews for current and 2023-2024 school year positions.

University representatives will also be on hand to offer information about credential programs for candidates interested in furthering their education.

Educators are sought by schools throughout the county to fill full-time teaching positions, certificated support staff, adult education openings, and substitute positions with competitive compensation offers. Attendees should be prepared for interviews and sign-on bonus offers for hard-to-fill positions. More information about MDUSD openings, salaries and bonuses is here.

“We continue to face teacher and substitute teacher shortages throughout the nation and state of California,” said Lynn Mackey, Contra Costa County Superintendent of Schools. “Schools in Contra Costa County want and deserve qualified educators in every classroom. CCCOE’s annual Spring Job Fair is an event for new or seasoned educators and even those looking for a career change to explore a variety of education opportunities in our county.”
