MDUSD expands COVID-19 testing options for district residents
Posted 9/22/21

The Mt. Diablo Unified School District has expanded its options for COVID-19 testing available to district students, staff, families and community members. The district is now ONLY offering testing to students and staff on weekdays, but has expanded testing to include all district residents on Saturdays via a drive-through or walk-up option at Concord High School. Previously, the district limited its expanded testing to family members of staff and students and only offered testing on weekdays.

The complete testing schedule, along with other details, is on the district's website here. Flyers about the Saturday testing in English and Spanish are attached.

Online preregistration for testing is no longer required. However, the district requests that forms available on the district's website be printed out ahead of time, with the patient's insurance provider and record number written at the top or bottom of the Patient Request Form. Those without insurance must complete the Uninsured Patient Form and submit it with the Patient Request Form.

The Saturday testing is available from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Concord High School parking lot at 4200 Concord Blvd. in Concord. The district is offering this expanded Saturday service to accommodate parents, other family members, and the community on the weekend while focusing on students and staff during the week. However, students and staff members are also welcome on Saturdays, where the testing site will be fully staffed with nurses and parking attendants to speed up the process for those needing testing, including those who may be experiencing active symptoms.
