This industry sector is designed to provide a foundation in transportation services. MDUSD offers a pathway in Systems Diagnostics, Service and Repair at Concord HighSchool. The standards within this industry sector are designed to integrate academic and technical preparation and focus on career awareness, career exploration, and skill preparation. Integral components include classroom, laboratory, and hands-on contextual learning; project- and work-based instruction; and leadership development. Students earn a variety of technical certifications within this pathway that will help prepare them to enter into a variety of transportation and manufacturing related professions. Industry partners include Pacific States Aviation. The standards in this
sector prepare students for continued training, postsecondary education, and entry to a career.

Concord High School's Automotive Repair Technician career pathway allows students to start preparing for a career in automotive repair and careers in related transportation fields. The Transportation and Automotive courses introduce students to the technology and tools used in this field, as well as, safety procedures, and the components of an automobile. Additionally, students have the opportunity to gain certifications in the areas of Fasteners & Torque, Multimeter use, and Precision Measurement Instruments. These stackable certifications apply to many areas of engineering, manufacturing, facilities maintenance, and Aviation/Aerospace, to name a few.
